Job Title: Surgical Technician Profession: Surgical Technician Specialty: Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: PM Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the operating room within the last 3 years is required. Level 1 trauma experience for at least 1 year out of the last 3 is preferred. Minimum of 1 year of travel experience in the last 3 years is required. License: Not specified Certifications: Not specified Must-Have: Strong proficiency in the following areas: General Surgery Orthopedic Surgery (total joints required) Neurosurgery (crani and spine required) Vascular Surgery Trauma Surgery Robotics (DaVinci - must perform cardiac surgeries, including moving arms and draping) Transplant Surgery experience is preferred but not mandatory. Description: All shifts will be rotating (days, evenings, nights). Call and weekend shifts are required. Call may occur on both weekdays and weekends. Weekend duty can fall on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Within a 6-week timeframe, there may be up to 3 weekend shifts required. Call will be either Saturday (24 hours: 7 AM - 7 AM) or Sunday (16 hours: 7 AM - 11 PM). More night shifts may be scheduled on Fridays. No block scheduling is available. Call response time is expected to be within 30 minutes. In-house call rooms are available for use if needed.
