About the Position

Job Title

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location

Atlanta, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Float between Nuclear Medicine and PET departments as needed to support daily imaging operations
Perform approximately 10 or more general Nuclear Medicine procedures per day and 12–14 PET/CT scans per day
Conduct top procedures including whole-body bone scans, lung scans, gastric emptying, renal scans, HIDA scans, thyroid uptake and scan, thyroid whole-body scans, DaTscan brain scans, lymphoscintigraphy, parathyroid scans, FDG PET, and specialty PET
Provide direct patient care as well as indirect patient care duties such as patient reminder calls
Operate GE and Siemens imaging equipment proficiently
Respond to on-call needs for HIDA, GI bleed, brain death, and lung studies as required

Required Qualifications

Active ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification required
Minimum 3–5 or more years of Nuclear Medicine experience
Proficiency in both general Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging
Ability to float between Nuclear Medicine and PET modalities as operationally needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience operating GE and/or Siemens Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT equipment
Familiarity with a high-volume, fast-paced hospital imaging environment
