Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist Profession: Computed Tomography Tech Specialty: Computed Tomography Tech Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Evening Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours (1200 - 2230) Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: CRT/Fluoro Certifications: BLS, Venipuncture Must-Have: CRT/Fluoro certification BLS certification Venipuncture skills Description: Total Bed Count: 1 Radiology Room 1 Fluoroscopy Room 1 CT Room 1 MRI Room 2 Ultrasound Rooms 1 ECHO Room 1 DEXA Room 1 Mammography Room Staffing Ratios: Days: 1 tech to 9-10 patients Nights: 1 tech to 2-3 patients, with backup call from 9 p.m. or 10:30 p.m. until 6:30 a.m. Weekends: 1 tech to 5 patients, with backup call from Friday 8:00 p.m. to Monday 6:30 a.m. Schedule Requirements: Call Required: No Float Required: No Weekend Coverage: Will cover when a tech is off Scheduling Type: Scheduled by manager based on need Documentation System: Cerner Support: IV Teams: Technologists start their IVs Lift Teams: House supervisor and emergency department will assist with lifting during off hours Transportation: Not available Unit Secretary: Day shift hours and Saturday Scrubs: Any color. Scrubs are provided if going to the operating room.
